Mrazek and Dzingel will be key to Carolina’ success in 2019-20 August 07, 2019

Signed to free agent deals this past July, returning goaltender Petr Mrazek and new signee Ryan Dzingel will be ones to watch for the Carolina Hurricanes this upcoming season. Mrazek will be relied on to carry the load between the pipes, after he impressed in 2018-19 with 23 wins, 4 shutouts and an excellent GAA of 2.39. Dzingel, meanwhile, is coming off of a career year split between Ottawa and Columbus where he set new career-highs in every major statistical category, including goals (26) and points (50).
