Lehner wins Masterton Trophy June 20, 2019

Robin Lehner claimed the Masterton Trophy at the 2019 NHL Awards last night, after a season that saw the New York Islanders netminder overcome the odds to produce a career-best campaign. The Swedish-native, who was also nominated for the Vezina Trophy, was easily one of the best goalies in the NHL this season, finishing 2nd in save percentage (.930), 3rd in goals-against average (2.13), and 4th in shutouts (6).
