Karlsson re-signs with Sharks June 18, 2019
Erik Karlsson and the San Jose Sharks came to terms on a new, eight-year contract on Monday. The 29-year-old defenseman was integral to the Sharks latest playoff push that saw them reach the West Conference Final. In his first season with San Jose, he tallied 45 points (3 goals, 42 assists) in 53 regular season games, and 16 points (2 goals, 14 assists) in 19 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
