Stone’s heroics put Canada through to WHC Semifinals May 23, 2019
Mark Stone scored the game-winning goal in overtime on Thursday, as Canada came from behind to defeat Switzerland 3-2 in their 2019 IIHF World Hockey Championships quarterfinals tilt. The 27-year-old winger has been one of the top players at this year’s WHC tourney, leading all players in goals scored with 7.
