Karlsson shines in crucial Sharks’ win May 16, 2019

Erik Karlsson was named the 1^st star of the game last night, as the San Jose Sharks defeated the St. Louis Blues 5-4 in overtime, taking a 2-1 series lead in the process. The All-star defenseman scored two goals in the contest – including the overtime game winner – and would go on to finish the game with a +2 rating, 4 shots on net and 27:51 of ice-time. The Swedish star currently sits 1^st in points by a defenseman with 15, and his 13 assists leads all players in the Stanley Cup Playoffs to date.
