Steel excelling in Calder Cup playoffs May 03, 2019

Sam Steel has been one of the best prospects in the Anaheim Ducks’ organization this season, and he continues to shine in the Calder Cup playoffs with the San Diego Gulls. Playing in his first year of professional hockey, the 21-year-old center has been excellent, whether it’s suiting up for Anaheim (where he tallied six goals and 5 assists in 22 games) or currently with their AHL farm team, San Diego. In just 4 playoff games to date, Steel has amassed 6 points (3 goals, 3 assists), after tallying 41 points in just 53 regular season games.
