Hertl’s goal keeps Sharks’ Stanley Cup hopes alive April 22, 2019

Tomas Hertl scored 11:17 into the second overtime period last night, as the San Jose Sharks defeated the Vegas Golden Knights, 2-1. With his team down a man, the 25-year-old center took a breakout pass and scored on a well-placed wrist shot. It was the 1st overtime playoff goal of his career, and his 4th game-winning goal. Through 6 games, the Praha-native has tallied an impressive 5 goals and 1 assist.
