Lundqvist moves up the all-time wins list January 18, 2019

Henrik Lundqvist moved into a tie with goaltender Terry Sawchuk for 6^th in all-time wins last night, as the New York Rangers defeated the Chicago Blackhawks, 4-3.  The 36-year-old netminder turned aside 24 of the 27 shots he faced in the contest, en route to his 14^th win of the season. For his career, the native of Are, Sweden has amassed an impressive record of 445-287-90, and is now just 9 wins shy of tying Curtis Joseph for 5^th in all-time wins.
