Nyquist named 3rd star in Red Wings’ OT win December 07, 2018

Gustav Nyquist tallied a goal and two assists last night, as the Detroit Red Wings held off the Toronto Maple Leafs, winning in overtime, 5-4.  The Swedish winger played a big role in the eventual overtime-winner, executing an inch-perfect, breakaway pass that led to the goal. Nyquist would finish the game with 3 points, a +2 rating and 5 shots on net. The Halmstad-native is on pace for the best offensive season of his career, with 26 points (7 goals, 19 assists) in 29 games to date.
