Lehner makes history in Islanders’ win October 09, 2018
Robin Lehner steered aside all 35 shots he faced Sunday afternoon – including 16 in the 3rd period -- guiding the New York Islanders to a 4-0 defeat of the San Jose Sharks. Signed by the Islanders over the summer, the Swedish-native became the first goalie in the team’s history to record a shutout in his debut.
