NHL Preseason
Thomas continues to impress with an eye on roster spot September 24, 2018
Drafted 20th overall by the St. Louis Blues last summer, Robert Thomas has looked the part of an NHL player this preseason. Case in point: a 3-assist performance in last night’s game versus the Columbus Blue Jackets. Despite getting his training camp off to a slow start due to a leg injury, the Blues’ coaching staff have seen a game-by-game improvement from the young center thus far. The Aurora-native is coming off a fantastic season in the OHL that saw him eventually be named the Playoffs MVP.
