Danault looking the part as Habs’ top-line center September 21, 2018

Philip Danault helped guide the Montréal Canadiens to a 5-2 defeat of the Washington Capitals last night, tallying 2 assists in the win. The 25-year-old has looked solid as the team’s No.1 center since the beginning of training camp, creating immediate offensive chemistry with his new linemates while providing a responsible, two-way approach in all three zones. The Victoriaville-native has been impressive in the faceoff circle through two games, winning over 60% of his draws.
