Player Trade

Skinner traded to the Buffalo Sabres August 03, 2018

Jeff Skinner will continue his career as a member of the Buffalo Sabres, after being traded by the Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday. The 26-year-old forward had been a key cog in the Hurricanes’ attack for the last 8 seasons, registering over 30 goals on 3 occasions, including 31 as an 18-year-old rookie in 2010-11.  The Toronto-native has proven to be one of the most reliable marksmen in the league in recent times, ranking 7th in the NHL over the last 3 seasons in even-strength goals, with 74.
