Green re-ups with Detroit on two-year deal July 09, 2018

Mike Green and the Detroit Red Wings came to terms on a two-year, $10.75 million contract extension on July 1^st. The 32-year-old defenseman has spent the last 3 seasons with Detroit, where he has averaged 35 points and nearly 22 minutes of ice time per game. A veteran of 13 NHL seasons, the Calgary-native will look to provide leadership to a young Red Wings blue line, while still providing his usual offensive flair on the power play.
