O’Reilly traded to Blues July 03, 2018

After being traded from the Buffalo Sabres to the St. Louis Blues on Sunday, 27-year-old center Ryan O’Reilly is ready to lead his new team back to the playoffs in 2018-19, after they narrowly missed out last season. The perennial Lady Byng award nominee is excited to play with an already richly talented corps of players, including the likes of forwards Brayden Schenn, Jaden Schwartz and All-star defenseman Alex Pietrangelo. In 81 games last season, O’Reilly finished 2^nd on the Sabres in both assists (37) and points (61).
