Markstrom stellar in 2nd straight win March 26, 2018

Jacob Markstrom was named the 1^st star of the game last night, guiding the Vancouver Canucks to a 4-1 defeat of the Dallas Stars. The 28-year-old goalie turned aside 30 of the 31 shots he faced in the contest. This followed another excellent performance on Thursday by Markstrom, a 39-save, 5-2 win versus the Chicago Blackhawks. Playing as a team’s No. 1 goaltender for the first time in his career, Markstrom has not disappointed. Through 56 games for the Canucks, he has posted a solid save percentage of 2.75 and a more than respectable goals-against average of .911.
