Konecny stays hot as Flyers roll February 19, 2018
Travis Konecny took his breakout season to new heights last night, as the Philadelphia Flyers cruised to a 7-4 defeat of the New York Rangers. The 20-year-old native of London, Ontario was named the 1st of the contest, tallying a goal and 2 assists in the win. The talented center is currently on a 4-game point streak, registering 7 points (2 goals and 5 assists) and a +5 rating in that span. For the season, Konecny has already improved on his rookie campaign in a plethora of categories, including goals (15) and points (34). He also currently sits tied for 7th in the NHL in game-winning goals with 6.
