Lundqvist shuts the door in Rangers’ triumph February 12, 2018
Henrik Lundqvist won his second straight game last night, guiding the New York Rangers to a 3-1 defeat of the Winnipeg Jets. The future Hall of Fame netminder was stellar in the win, steering aside 37 of the 38 shots he faced, including a 17-shot barrage in the 3rd period. For the season, the Are, Sweden-native is on pace for a 12th season with 30 or more wins, which would tie him for 2nd all-time in that category. Through 48 games, Lundqvist currently owns a 23-17 record, with a save percentage of .919 and a goals-against-average of 2.73.
