Lehner named 3rd Star of the Week January 29, 2018
Robin Lehner was named the 3rd star of the week on Monday, after recording two shutouts in the two games he featured in. In steering aside all 63 shots he faced in his team’s two wins, the 26-year-old netminder became the first Sabre to receive a Star of the Week nomination this season. He also became the first Sabres’ goaltender to record back-to-back shutouts since February of 2012.
