Hot Night
Marchand keep point streak alive in Bruins’ romp December 19, 2017
Brad Marchand tallied a goal and an assist last night, as the Boston Bruins cruised to a 7-2 defeat of the Columbus Blue Jackets. After missing a big chunk of November due to injury, the 29-year-old winger has quietly been one of the hottest players in the NHL this month. Going back to November 29, the Halifax-native has tallied a point or more in 9 straight games, registering 6 goals, 8 assists and a +7 rating in that span. After averaging more than a point-per-game last season (85 points in 80 games), Marchand is at it again in 2017-18, with 29 points through his first 23 games.
