Bailey named 3rd star of the week December 18, 2017

Josh Bailey was named the 3^rd star of the week on Monday, for the week ending December 17. He was previously named the 2^nd star of the week in early November, making him one of 3 players to have been awarded with NHL’s 3 Stars of the Week honours more than once this year. The Bowmanville, Ontario-native tallied an impressive 8 points (4 goals, 4 assists) in 4 games for the Islanders, including his first career hat trick. Coming off of a season-high 56 points last year, the talented winger has taken his game to a whole new level this season. Through 33 games, he is currently tied for 3rd in the NHL in scoring with 40 points, and sits 2^nd in assists with 31.
