Wilson has breakout game in Caps’ victory December 07, 2017
Tom Wilson had one of his best games in a Washington Capitals’ uniform on Wednesday, leading his team to a convincing, 6-2 defeat of the Chicago Blackhawks. The 23-year-old power forward tallied 2 goals and 2 assists in the contest, including a late short-handed goal to seal the contest. It was the Toronto-native’s first ever four-point performance, and possibly a sign of things to come for the young rising star. Drafted 16th overall in the 2012 draft, Wilson is putting together what looks to be his best season to date, with 13 points (4 goals, 9 assists) through his first 25 games.
