Kessel electric in Penguins’ win November 27, 2017
Phil Kessel helped the Pittsburgh Penguins take down the Eastern Conference’s top team on Saturday night, tallying 4 points in a 5-2 defeat of the Tampa Bay Lightning. The 30-year-old, star winger would eventually be named 1st star in the contest, finishing the game with 2 goals, 2 assists, and 3 shots on net. Kessel has been one of the top offensive performers in the NHL this season. He currently sits 1st overall in power play points (17) and 5th in points (31).
