Sean Monahan shines in Canadian junior camp scrimmage August 06, 2013

On the final day of development camp, Sean Monahan scored the game-winning goal in the shootout, propelling the Red team to a 3-2 win over the Whites. The 6^th overall pick in the 2013 draft also scored in regulation time, in a match that was played in two 30-minute halves. In the shootout, the Ottawa 67’s star was the only player on both squads to find the back of the net, scoring in the 6^th round on a nifty backhanded deke.
