Josh Bailey was named the 2^nd star of the week on Monday, after he tallied 7 assists in just 3 games played. Bailey has been one of the breakout stars of the 2017-18 NHL season. The 28-year-old winger sits tied for 4^th overall in points and 2^nd in assists through his first 15 games, putting him on pace for career-highs in both categories. He currently owns the longest point streak by an Islanders’ player since 2013-14, tallying 2 goals and 14 assists in a 9-game span.
