Stamkos named first star of the week October 23, 2017

Steven Stamkos was named the 1^st star of the week on Monday, after guiding the Tampa Bay Lightning to an impressive 3-0-1 record. The superstar forward was a unanimous choice for the award after tallying four straight, multi-point games. He would eventually finish the week with an incredible 11 points (2 goals, 9 assists) and a plus/minus rating of +6.  The native of Markham, Ontario unsurprisingly leads the NHL in points (18) and assists (15) through 9 games.
