Monahan helps Calgary escape with win October 12, 2017
Sean Monahan scored the game-winning goal in overtime last night, as the Calgary Flames defeated the Los Angeles Kings, 4-3. After squandering an early 2-0 lead, the 23-year-old star center saved the day, netting a game-winner for the second straight game. The Brampton-native also added an assist in the contest, as well as 2 shots on net and a +2 rating. Monahan has registered 4 points in his first 4 games of the season, helping guide the Flames to a 3-1 start.
