Konecny ready to take flight in sophomore campaign September 28, 2017

Travis Konecny continued his strong preseason play on Wednesday night, tallying a goal and an assist in the Flyers’ 4-3 defeat of the New York Rangers. The 20-year-old rising star scored the game-winning goal in overtime, his second goal of the preseason, and 4^th point overall. The London, Ontario-native proved to be a versatile forward in his rookie campaign, playing well on either wing when called upon. He tallied 28 points (11 goals, 17 assists) in 70 games for Philadelphia last season.
