Glass taken 6th overall by Vegas June 26, 2017
Cody Glass became the first player ever selected by the Vegas Golden Knights on Friday, with the expansion side taking the Portland Winterhawks standout 6th overall in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. The Winnipeg, Manitoba-native saw his offensive numbers explode in his 2nd full season in the WHL, jumping from 27 points (10 goals, 17 assists) in 2015-16, to 94 points (32 goals, 62 assists) in 2016-17.
