Ryan and MacArthur propel Senators into second round April 24, 2017
Bobby Ryan set up Clarke MacArthur for the game-winning goal in overtime last night, sending the Ottawa Senators into Round 2 with a 3-2 win over the Boston Bruins. Ryan has been one of the revelations of the 2017 Playoffs, registering 7 points (4 goals, 3 assists) including two game-winning goals. MacArthur, meanwhile, has maybe been an even bigger story. Returning to action after missing nearly two years with concussion symptoms, the 32-year-old Albertan has scored two goals in the 2017 NHL Playoffs, including the biggest goal of the Ottawa Senators’ season last night.
