Marchand explodes in 3rd period to rally Bruins past Canucks March 14, 2017

Brad Marchand’s march towards superstar status continued on Monday, in the Boston Bruins’ 6-3 defeat of the Vancouver Canucks. With the Bruins down 3-2 heading into the 3^rd period, the Halifax-native took matters into his own hands, scoring the game tying and game winning goals in succession. The sparkplug winger would eventually consolidate his hat trick, scoring his 3^rd goal with just under 30 seconds left in the contest. With the three-goal performance, Marchand now shares the league lead in goals with 35, and sits tied for 2nd overall in points with 74.
