Monahan guides Flames to 7th straight win March 06, 2017
Sean Monahan was named the 1st star last night, as the Calgary Flames cruised to an emphatic, 5-2 victory over the New York Islanders. The 22-year-old center scored a goal and added an assist in Calgary’s season-high, 7th straight win, further solidifying their stranglehold on a Stanley Cup playoff spot. The Brampton-native has been excellent at both ends of the ice during the Flames’ run, tallying 8 points (2 goals, 6 assists) and an impressive +9 rating.
