Hornqvist and Kessel help Penguins get by Avs February 10, 2017
Patric Hornqvist scored two goals – including the game winner – and Phil Kessel tallied a goal and an assist, as the Pittsburgh Penguins cruised to a 4-1 win over the Colorado Avalanche last night. Hornqvist, who went on to be named the first star of the contest, has been in good form of late, with seven goals in his last eight games. As for Kessel, the speedy winger has been one of the dominant offensive players in the NHL this season, averaging just under a point per game. Through 53 games, he has registered 18 goals and 34 assists.
