Strome and Bailey stay hot in Isles’ win February 07, 2017
Ryan Strome and Josh Bailey both scored last night, as the New York Islanders overcame a two-goal deficit to defeat the Toronto Maple Leafs by a score of 6-5, in overtime. Strome tallied a goal and an assist, and would eventually be named the second star of the contest. The 23-year-old forward has been key to the Islanders current run of form, registering 6 points (2 goals, 4 assists) in his last 4 games. As for Bailey, few players have been hotter than the big-bodied winger of late. The 27-year-old scored for the 5th time in his last 6 games, and has 8 points in that span.
