Marchand named 2nd star of the month February 02, 2017
Brad Marchand was named the 2nd star for the month of January on Wednesday, after leading all players in points with 20 in just 14 games played. The 28-year-old emerging superstar led the league with 11 goals in this period, including 3 of the shorthanded variety, also an NHL-high. For the season, The Nova Scotia-native currently sits 6th in the league in points with 51 (21 goals, 30 assists) in 53 games.
