Hornqvist’s big 2nd period propels Pens’ to victory February 01, 2017
Patric Hornqvist scored two goals last night – including the game winner – as the Pittsburgh Penguins cruised to a 4-2 win over the Nashville Predators. Up 2-1 in the second period, the Swedish marksmen sealed his team’s victory with 2 goals in a span of 5 minutes. He would go on to be named the 1st star of the contest. Through 43 games this season, Hornqvist has tallied 14 goals and 16 assists with a +13 rating.
