Marchand comes up big as Bruins edge Red Wings January 25, 2017
Brad Marchand was named the first star last night, in the Boston Bruins 4-3, overtime victory over the Detroit Red Wings. The Halifax-native scored twice, including a game-tying goal midway through the 3rd period, and registered 5 shots on net. After breaking through with a team-high, 37 goals in 2015-16, Marchand has not missed a beat this season, tallying 19 goals and 28 assists through 51 games. He currently sits tied for 6th in the NHL with 47 points.
