Danault scores twice in Habs’ romp January 12, 2017

Philip Danault was named the first star last night, scoring two goals in the Montreal Canadiens 7-4 win over the Winnipeg Jets. Since becoming an everyday player for the Canadiens in 2016-17, the Victoriaville-native has quickly become a fan-favorite, and one of the team’s most consistent, two-way players. The 23-year-old forward has already set career-highs in nearly every category, including games (42), goals (9) and points (21). He has been on a hot run of late, with seven points (3 goals, 4 assists) In his last 7 games.
