Stone carries the load in Senators’ triumph January 09, 2017
Mark Stone was named the first star of the game last night, as the Ottawa Senators defeated the Edmonton Oilers, 5-3. The 24-year-old power forward scored the tying goal at 3-3, just 30 seconds after the Oilers had taken the lead in the second period. He would finish the contest with 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists) and a +1 rating. The Winnipeg, Manitoba-native is well on his way to a 3rd straight 60-point season, with 12 goals and 19 assists (31 points) through his first 38 games.
