Lundqvist and Skjei help Rangers defeat Flyers January 05, 2017
Henrik Lundqvist steered aside 30 shots and Brady Skjei tallied an assist, as the New York Rangers cruised to a 5-2 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers. Lundqvist would eventually be named the 2nd star of the contest, en route to his 17th win of the season. Skjei, meanwhile, had an excellent game on the Rangers blue line, adding 4 hits and a +3 rating to his assist. Drafted 28th overall in the 2012 NHL Draft, the Lakeville, Minnesota-native has been excellent in his first full season with the Rangers, registering 17 point (1 goal, 16 assists) and a +4 rating through 40 games.
