Rand joined NSM just prior to the 1993 NHL Entry Draft, following a four-year stint at The Hockey News where he was the publication's senior editor.

Rand is very active in all contract negotiations and is recognized as an industry leader in salary arbitration preparation and in conducting research for contractual negotiations.

With an honors degree in Journalism from Carleton University, Rand also holds the Certified Financial Planning designation and manages our clients' financial needs with respect to taxes, investments, insurance and estate planning.
